About IMNR
The Institute of Nonferrous and Rare Metals, founded in 1966, has become, through its achievements, a national strategy institute in the field of nonferrous metallurgy, under the name of National R&D Institute for Nonferrous and Rare Metals - IMNR through HG2115/2004. The main directions of the research and development activities and its achievements are presented in the White Book of research in INCDMNR-IMNR.
The Research Department consists of the following laboratories: the Nanostructured Materials Laboratory, Novel Technologies and Materials Laboratory and Ecotechnologies and Environment Protection Laboratory.
NCDMNR-IMNR through the Technological Testing Collective, creates on request small weight products, in order to harness the results of the research carried inside IMNR.
INCDMNR-IMNR, through the Analysis Laboratory, performs on request physical, structural, physico-chemical and chemical analysis on any material containing nonferrous metals.
